Touted as the brains, beauty and beats by Google, its smart speaker- Home Max is now up for sale. The gadget is available on Google Store, Best Buy, Verizon, and Walmart (yes, not Amazon) for $399 as announced at its earlier launch For the holiday season around the corner, the timing of the release couldn’t be any better. However, only time will tell if it manages to achieve the expected level of success.
In case you missed out on researching about the device, Home Max is a smart speaker that lets you control music and other smart home gadgets through voice commands. Google claims that the device is equipped with its AI and different sensors to adapt to the music automatically according to where it’s kept.
Available in chalk and charcoal color variants, Home Max comes with plenty of options to play your music. Apart from obvious AUX and Bluetooth connectivity, it has Chromecast built-in and can connect to Spotify, YouTube, Pandora, and Google Play Music apps. Also, with far-field microphone built-in, it can recognize your voice commands even when you are in other room and the music is blasting in full volume. Currently compatible with over 1,000 home automation devices, it can also serve as a hub for your smart-home aspirations.
